Known by God

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? (Galatians 4:9 ESV)

I focus a lot on wanting to know God more, and that is very important. More importantly, however, is that He knows me! I am known by God.... He knows me–my frailties, failures, weaknesses, short comings, dreams, desires, want, and needs. He understands my longings, my hurts, my wounds, my scars and my heart–He knows me and loves me to beautiful.

Why would I want to return to any way of life that enslaves me to man's opinions or posturing?—any life that included an absence of my own acute awareness of His understanding of who I am?

I want to always remember that He knows me. He knows my frame…that I am but dust (Psalm 103:14). If I keep that somewhere in the front of my heart, it should make me want to always know Him more, too!

Stay close to Him. Live beautiful.
