Life Lessons From the Cutting Room Floor

Our inaugural group

Our inaugural group

I started a new sewing club that meets monthly in my home. The name of the group is "Life Lessons from the Cutting Room Floor." It's been on my heart to do this for about two years. Our ladies meet monthly and the level of sewing skill varies. We spent our first meeting learning to take and record measurements. We had a great time and everyone is looking forward to our next gathering!

This past week, as I shared that some of the ladies don't actually have machines but would still like to learn, someone offered to bring two machines they had picked up at thrift stores and yard sales but had never used. What a God-moment...a tremendous blessing!!! After a bit of dusting, oil, and a few minor repairs, they should be just what we need for the ladies.  I'm thrilled about this journey!

Use the hashtags #PatternTherapy and #MeMade to share what you're working on viaTwitter and Instagram.
